Սուրբ Խաչի երևման տոն

Այս տոնը Երուսաղեմում Սբ. Խաչի նշանի երեւման հիշատակն է: 351 թվականին, ցերեկվա ընթացքում Գողգոթայից մինչև Ձիթենյայց լեռը երկնքում երևում է մի լուսե Խաչ: Այդ զարմանահրաշ դեպքի մասին Երուսաղեմի Կյուրեղ եպիսկոպոսը նամակ է գրում Կ. Պոլսի Կոստանդ կայսերը՝ այդ զարմանալի երևույթը համարելով իբրև ուղղափառ դավանության ճշմարտության ապացույց: Այդ պատճառով էլ Կյուրեղ Երուսաղեմացին հորդորում է Կոստանդ կայսերը հրաժարվել արիոսականներին պաշտպանելուց: Երուսաղեմի Կյուրեղ եպիսկոպոսի այդ նամակը թարգմանվել է հայերեն և ամեն տարի ընթերցվում է Սբ. Խաչի երևման տոնին: Հայ Առաքելական Եկեղեցին Սբ. Խաչի տոնը տոնում է Զատիկից 28 օր հետո: Սբ. Հարության տոնի շարժականության պատճառով Սբ. Խաչի երևման տոնը կարող է տատանվել ապրիլի 19-ից մինչև մայիսի 23-ը:

Festa della Apparizione della Santa Croce

Questa festa è dedicata alla Apparizione della Santa Croce in Gerusalemme . A mezzogiorno del 19 maggio 351 , un luminoso , croce luminosa apparve sopra i cieli di Gerusalemme , centrato su un'area che va dal Monte degli Ulivi ( dove Cristo fu tradito e arrestato ) al Golgota ( dove fu crocifisso Cristo ) .Sgomento , i fedeli di Gerusalemme correre in chiesa per ringraziare e glorificare il Signore .Vescovo Cirillo (poi San Cirillo di Gerusalemme ) ha successivamente scritto una lettera all'imperatore Costantino di Bisanzio in cui egli descrive la scena miracolosa e bellissima . San Cirillo dice Costantino che l'apparizione è una vera testimonianza di fede ortodossa del cristianesimo .
Inoltre, San Cirillo esorta l'imperatore che l'aspetto è un segno per lui di rimanere saldi nella fede , e per fermare difendere il movimento eretico dell'arianesimo e dei suoi promulgatori .La traduzione armena della lettera del vescovo è stato conservato dalla Chiesa , ed è leggere ogni anno in occasione della festa dell'Apparizione della Santa Croce .La Chiesa armena celebra questa festa 28 giorni dopo la Domenica di Pasqua .

Feast of Apparition of the Holy Cross

This feast is dedicated to the Apparition of the Holy Cross in Jerusalem. At noon on May 19, 351, a bright, luminous cross appeared over the skies of Jerusalem, centered over an area spanning from the Mount of Olives (where Christ was betrayed and arrested) to Golgotha (where Christ was crucified). Awestruck, the faithful of Jerusalem rush to church to give thanks and glorify the Lord. Bishop Cyril (later St. Cyril of Jerusalem) subsequently wrote a letter to Emperor Constantine of Byzantium wherein he describes the miraculous and beautiful scene. St. Cyril tells Constantine that the apparition is a true testimony of the orthodox faith of Christianity.
Further, St. Cyril exhorts the Emperor that the appearance is a sign for him to remain steadfast in his faith, and to stop defending the heretical movement of Arianism and its promulgators. The Armenian translation of the Bishop’s letter has been preserved by the Church, and is read each year on the Feast of the Apparition of the Holy Cross. The Armenian Church celebrates this feast 28 days following Easter Sunday.

Праздник Явления на небе Креста Господня

Этот праздник - воспоминание явления на небе Креста Господня в Иерусалиме. Утром 19 мая 351 г. над Иерусалимом вспыхнул огромный лучезарный крест. Он укрыл собою небо от Елеонской горы до Голгофы и был виден отовсюду. Знамение переливалось всеми цветами радуги и привлекло к себе взоры всех людей. Многие люди, оставив свои дела, выходили из домов и со страхом созерцали чудное явление. Потом многочисленные толпы жителей Иерусалима с трепетом и радостью поспешили ко святому храму Воскресения. Случилось это при Иерусалимском патриархе Кирилле. Он известил посланием императора Констанция, увещевал его обратиться к православной вере. Историк Древней Церкви Созомен свидетельствует, что через это явление Святого Креста многие иудеи пришли к истинной вере, покаявшись Христу Богу, и приняли Святое Крещение. Послание патриарха Кирилла Констанцию переведено на армянский язык и каждый год в день Явления на небе Креста Господня в Иерусалиме читается во всех церквях.
Армянская Апостольская Церковь отмечает Явление на небе Креста Господня через 28 дней после Пасхи, в период с 19-го апреля по 23-е мая.
